Studio shares one library across up to 5 designers. Invite or remove teammates any time from your studio settings; seats are billed by plan, not per head.

What each tier is actually for

Free is for the designer who wants their sourcing in one place and nothing else about the way they work to change. Unlimited saves, unlimited vendors, unlimited collections, colour search, AI categorisation, and three moodboards a month. Nothing expires and nothing gets locked behind a trial running out. If you spec two or three rooms a year, or you are testing VADE on a live project before you trust it with the next one, Free is the right answer, and we would rather you stayed on it than upgraded and resented it.

Solo, £12 a month, is for the designer who presents. The moodboard allowance goes to 50 a month, which is more than a single-handed studio usually gets through even in a heavy quarter. PDF export gives you an A3 client deliverable you can print, post or attach, and client shares carry your studio branding rather than ours. The tell is simple: if you are hitting three moodboards by the middle of the month, or you have ever apologised for the way a board looked when it landed in a client inbox, you want Solo.

Studio, £29 a month, is for a team rather than a person. Up to 5 seats share one library, so a save made by whoever is at the fair on Tuesday is in the library the junior is working from on Wednesday, without anyone forwarding a link. Moodboards are unlimited under fair use, and everything in Solo is included. It is priced for the studio rather than per head, so the second and third seats do not move the bill.

What you do not pay for

There is no per-project fee. Run one project or forty on the same plan and the price does not move. Saves are not metered on any tier, including Free, and neither are vendors or collections. The library is unlimited everywhere, which matters more than it sounds, because a library you are rationing is a library you stop using.

There is no onboarding fee, no setup fee, no implementation call to buy and no minimum term. The only thing any tier meters is moodboards, because that is the part with a real cost sitting behind it. Everything else you can use as hard as you like.

Cancelling

One click, from Settings then Billing. No email to send, no support ticket, no notice period, and nobody rings you to ask what went wrong. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops.

Your library is not held hostage either. Cancelling drops you to the free tier, so you lose the paid features and keep the work: every save, every vendor, every collection, and every board you have already made. We spell this out at more length than a pricing page normally would because designers report that leaving a subscription in this trade is often made deliberately awkward, and it seems worth knowing in advance that it is not awkward here.

What VADE is not

VADE is not a procurement suite and is not quietly becoming one. There are no purchase orders, no invoicing, no payments or client billing, no fee proposals, no project schedules and no delivery tracking. If you need those, buy a system built for them. Several are good, and none of them cost £12 a month.

What VADE does is the sourcing, organising and presenting that happens before any of that begins, which is why a fair number of studios run both and pay for both without feeling duplicated. If you want the line drawn properly, read how a sourcing library differs from a procurement platform.

Questions, answered.

Is the free tier really free forever?
Yes. Free is not a trial and it has no expiry date. You get unlimited saves, unlimited vendors and collections, colour search and AI categorisation, plus three moodboards a month, and you do not need to put a card in to start. Plenty of designers use VADE for a year without paying us anything, which is the intended outcome, not a loophole.
What happens if I exceed my moodboard allowance?
Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. Every board you have already composed stays exactly where it is, and so does every save in your library. You simply cannot compose a new moodboard until the count resets at the start of your next billing month, or until you move up a tier. Free is 3 a month, Solo is 50 a month, Studio is unlimited under fair use.
Do team seats each need a paid account?
No. Seats are part of the Studio plan rather than separate subscriptions. You pay GBP 29 a month for the studio and invite up to 5 people, including yourself, into one shared library. Colleagues create their own logins, but they are not billed separately and do not need a plan of their own.
Can I change plan mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect straight away and are prorated, so you pay only the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you paid for until it runs out. Both are handled in Settings then Billing, without contacting us.
Do you charge VAT?
Prices are shown in GBP excluding tax. VAT, or the local equivalent, is calculated and added at checkout from your billing address and, for business customers, the VAT number you enter. Every invoice shows the tax line and can be downloaded from Settings then Billing.
